Bengaluru, A. 24: An educational tour was arranged for the 7th class students of Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Somanahalli to Bull Temple, Dodda Ganesha Temple, Srinivasa Venkateswara Temple, Fire Station, Govardhanagiri Hill and Raghavendra Mutt.
- Students visited the Bull Temple (Dodda Basavanagudi) and Dodda Ganesha Temple to have darshan of the deity and learn about the historical and cultural significance of the temples.
- Later visited the Srinivasa Venkateswara Temple and gained knowledge about Indian culture and religious heritage.
- Next, the students visited the fire station. There, the firemen gave information about the precautionary measures to be taken in the event of a fire accident, the use of firefighting equipment and the methods of safe conduct in an emergency. Students got practical knowledge about fire safety by seeing fire engines and different equipment.
- Then the students visited Govardhanagiri Hill and tasted the beauty of nature. Awareness was created about the importance of the hill environment, natural wealth and environmental protection. Later he visited the Raghavendra Mutt and learned about the spiritual and cultural values.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಆ. 24: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಸೋಮನಹಳ್ಳಿಯ 7ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಬುಲ್ ಟೆಂಪಲ್, ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗಣೇಶ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ, ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ, ಅಗ್ನಿಶಾಮಕ ಠಾಣೆ, ಗೋವರ್ಧನಗಿರಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಮಠಕ್ಕೆ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಪ್ರವಾಸ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
- ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಬುಲ್ ಟೆಂಪಲ್ (ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬಸವನಗುಡಿ) ಮತ್ತು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗಣೇಶ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ದೇವರ ದರ್ಶನ ಪಡೆದು, ದೇವಾಲಯಗಳ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡರು.
- ನಂತರ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ಅರಿವು ಪಡೆದರು.
- ಮುಂದೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಅಗ್ನಿಶಾಮಕ ಠಾಣೆಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅಗ್ನಿಶಾಮಕ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯವರು ಬೆಂಕಿ ಅವಘಡ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದಾಗ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಾದ ಮುನ್ನೆಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ಕ್ರಮಗಳು, ಅಗ್ನಿಶಾಮಕ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳ ಬಳಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ತುರ್ತು ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ವಿಧಾನಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಅಗ್ನಿಶಾಮಕ ವಾಹನಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವಿವಿಧ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಅಗ್ನಿ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದರು.
- ತದನಂತರ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಗೋವರ್ಧನಗಿರಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸವಿದರು. ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಪರಿಸರ, ನೈಸರ್ಗಿಕ ಸಂಪತ್ತು ಹಾಗೂ ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಕುರಿತು ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಬಳಿಕ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಮಠಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡರು.
