Summer Camp in RVK – Somanahalli
Bengaluru, Apr. 14: A summer camp was organized herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Somanahalli from March 31 to April 14.
Activities like Kabaddi game, arts and crafts, folk dance to increase physical fitness were organized in the camp.
Documentary films were screened and Shloka recitation was conducted in the camp.
At the end, certificates were given to the campers.

The school principal, Smt. Ramya, offered prayers to the portrait of Lord Rama.
Blood Donation Camp in RVK – Somanahalli
Bengaluru, Apr. 5: Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Somanahalli organized a blood donation camp in collaboration with Rashtrotthana Blood Centre, Bengaluru on the occasion of children’s results and P.T. Yam. Day. Smt. Sumitra P., Medical Officer at Rashtrotthana Blood Centre, senior social worker Sri Chandrashekhar R. and the Principal Smt. Ramya inaugurated the program by offering flowers to the portrait of Vidya Bharathi.
A parent-teacher meeting was held at the school and parents also donated blood.
Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Jayanti Celebration in RVK – Somanahalli
Bengaluru, Mar. 15: Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Jayanti was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Somanahalli.
A student of class 3 delivered a speech highlighting the life, philosophy and teachings of Sri Ramakrishna.
A student of class 5 performed a dance performance and recited the words of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa.
A documentary video on the life and teachings of Guruji was screened.
Holi Celebration in RVK – Somanahalli
Bengaluru, Mar. 14: Holi festival was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Somanahalli.
The program was inaugurated by Sri Yashwanth, who is in charge of the school administration, by offering puja to Manmatha.
‘Chandana’ program in RVK – Somanahalli
Bengaluru, Mar. 15: ‘Chandana’ program was organized herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Somanahalli.
Traditional games like Danda Datuma, Havina Bala, Churi Chikkanna etc. were the highlights of the program.
School students sang a group bhajan. They performed a dance depicting the diverse culture of India.
Gokulam Srujanotsava in RVK – Somanahalli
Bengaluru, Mar. 7: Gokulam Srujanotsava was organized herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Somanahalli. An art and craft exhibited in the school premises. Parents were also present and encouraged the creativity of the children.
Madhav Rao Sadashiva Rao Golwalkar Jayanti Celebration in RVK – Somanahalli
Bengaluru, Feb. 24: The Birth Anniversary of Pujya Madhav Rao Sadashiva Rao Golwalkar, the second Sarsanghachalak of RSS, was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Somanahalli.
Dhyan, a student of class II, dressed up as Guruji and recited Guruji’s blessings. Then, the students of class III sang a song about Guruji. And Chirag, a student of class II, told everyone about Guruji’s continuous service to the nation. More information about Guruji’s service to the nation was learned by watching a visual display in the classes.
