Bengaluru, Feb. 25: Students of classes VI and VII of Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Somanahalli visited the Bengaluru Science Gallery along with their teachers. During the educational and interactive tour, the students learnt about the importance of food, the effort farmers put in to grow it and why food should never be wasted.The students created awareness about the importance of proper segregation of e-waste and safe disposal of electronic items to protect the environment. An interesting display explained the sounds produced inside the human digestive system. Later, the students went to Cubbon Park, had lunch and played games together.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಫೆ. 25: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಸೋಮನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ VI ಮತ್ತು VII ತರಗತಿಗಳ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಗ್ಯಾಲರಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂವಾದಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಈ ಪ್ರವಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಆಹಾರದ ಮಹತ್ವ, ರೈತರು ಅದನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಯಲು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮತ್ತು ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ವ್ಯರ್ಥ ಮಾಡಬಾರದು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡರು. ಇ-ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯದ ಸರಿಯಾದ ವಿಂಗಡಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಸರವನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಾನಿಕ್ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ವಿಲೇವಾರಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸಿದರು. ಮಾನವ ಜೀರ್ಣಾಂಗ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಉತ್ಪತ್ತಿಯಾಗುವ ಶಬ್ದಗಳನ್ನು ಆಸಕ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವು ವಿವರಿಸಿತು. ನಂತರ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕಬ್ಬನ್ ಪಾರ್ಕ್ಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ, ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಊಟ ಮಾಡಿ ಆಟವಾಡಿದರು.
