Bengaluru, Jan 14: The Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Somanahalli celebrated the festival of Makar Sankranti. The school premises were adorned with colourful rangoli, sugarcane, and kites. Students elaborated on the cultural significance and importance of the Makar Sankranti festival, and they performed a dance that conveyed the significance of Suggi. In the end, sesame and jaggery were distributed.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಜ. 14: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಸೋಮನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕರಸಂಕ್ರಾಂತಿ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಶಾಲಾ ಆವರಣವನ್ನು ಬಣ್ಣಬಣ್ಣದ ರಂಗೋಲಿ, ಕಬ್ಬು ಮತ್ತು ಗಾಳಿಪಟದಿಂದ ಶೃಂಗರಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮಕರಸಂಕ್ರಾಂತಿ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ವಿಶೇಷತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹತ್ತ್ವದ ಕುರಿತು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಹಾಗೂ ಸುಗ್ಗಿಯ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವವನ್ನು ಸಾರುವ ನೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಳ್ಳುಬೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಹಂಚಲಾಯಿತು.
