Bengaluru, Sept 15: Students of Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Somanahalli participated in an Environmental Awareness Programme. Organized by the Parisara Jagarana Manch, the event was held at Harohalli, Kanakapura with the objective of ‘reforestation and reduction of plastic use’.
• Students climbed Chunchun Katte Hill by trekking.
• The concept of clean environment was promoted by sorting and collecting plastic waste.
• Seed ball propagation: Students learned about reforestation and biodiversity by planting seed balls in nature.
Children of Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Somanahalli learned the lesson of environment through this.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಸಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 15: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ, ಸೋಮನಹಳ್ಳಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪರಿಸರದ ಅರಿವಿನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು. ಪರಿಸರ ಜಾಗರಣ ಮಂಚ್ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ‘ಮರು ಅರಣ್ಯೀಕರಣ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಬಳಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕಡಮೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು’ ಎಂಬ ಉದ್ದೇಶದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕನಕಪುರದ ಹಾರೋಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
• ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಚುಂಚುನ್ ಕಟ್ಟೆ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಟ್ರೆಂಕಿಂಗ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಏರಿದರು.
• ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಕಸವನ್ನು ಆಯ್ದು ಒಟ್ಟು ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛ ಪರಿಸರದ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಯನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
• ಸೀಡ್ ಬಾಲ್ ಪ್ರಸರಣ: ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಜದ ಚೆಂಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಮರು ಅರಣ್ಯೀಕರಣ ಮತ್ತು ಜೀವವೈವಿಧ್ಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕಲಿತರು.
ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ, ಸೋಮನಹಳ್ಳಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಪರಿಸರದ ಪಾಠವನ್ನು ಕಲಿತರು.
