Bengaluru, Aug. 15: Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Somanahalli celebrated Independence Day.
- Sri Govinda Raju, a former soldier and senior assistant at ISRO, was the chief guest.
- The programme began with the singing of Vande Mataram, followed by the hoisting of the national tricolour.
- The students participated in a procession based on the theme ‘Vikshit Bharat @2047’, which reflects the vision of a developed India.
- The birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore was commemorated by highlighting his contributions to the nation and presenting one of his inspirational songs. The students staged a play depicting the life and valour of Sangolli Rayanna.
- The Chief Guest addressed the gathering and shared his life experiences, struggles and achievements. He motivated the students to serve the nation by joining the defence forces and contributing to the progress of India.

- ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಮಾಜಿ ಸೈನಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಇಸ್ರೋದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿರಿಯ ಸಹಾಯಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಗೋವಿಂದ ರಾಜು ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
- ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ವಂದೇ ಮಾತರಂ ಹಾಡುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು, ನಂತರ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ತ್ರಿವರ್ಣ ಧ್ವಜವನ್ನು ಹಾರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
- ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಹೊಂದಿದ ಭಾರತದ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಕೋನವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸುವ ʼವಿಕ್ಷಿತ ಭಾರತ @2047ʼ ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಆಧರಿಸಿದ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು.
- ರವೀಂದ್ರನಾಥ ಟ್ಯಾಗೋರ್ ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಅವರು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಸ್ಪೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ಗೀತೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಸ್ಮರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಂಗೊಳ್ಳಿ ರಾಯಣ್ಣ ಅವರ ಜೀವನ ಮತ್ತು ಶೌರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಚಿತ್ರಿಸು, ವ ನಾಟಕವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
- ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಸಭೆಯನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನ ಅನುಭವಗಳು, ಹೋರಾಟಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಧನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಪಡೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇರುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾರತದ ಪ್ರಗತಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದರು.
