Bengaluru, Jan. 16: Orange Day was celebrated here in Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Somanahalli. Class-wise group activities were conducted. Children recited Hanuman shlokas. The importance of orange was explained in the welcome speech itself. Various activities including mixing colours were conducted. A special juice corner was arranged where children learned how to make juice and were educated about the uses and benefits of orange juice.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಜ. 16: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಸೋಮನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಿತ್ತಳೆ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನುಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ತರಗತಿವಾರು ಗುಂಪು ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹನುಮಾನ್ ಶ್ಲೋಕಗಳನ್ನು ಪಠಿಸಿದರು. ಸ್ವಾಗತ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಕಿತ್ತಳೆ ಬಣ್ಣದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಬಣ್ಣಗಳ ಮಿಶ್ರಣ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿಶೇಷ ಜ್ಯೂಸ್ ಕಾರ್ನರ್ ಅನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ರಸವನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ತಯಾರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕಲಿತರು ಮತ್ತು ಕಿತ್ತಳೆ ರಸದ ಉಪಯೋಗಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಯೋಜನಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.
