Bengaluru, July 19: The Jayanti of Mangalapande, the inimitable patriot who fought to liberate Mother Bharat from the shackles of the British, was organized herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Somanahalli.The ceremony commenced with the placement of flowers on Mangalapande’s portrait, followed by the children singing a patriotic song.The students recounted the life story of Mangalapande, detailing his brave fight and ultimate sacrifice in the face of British oppression.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಜುಲೈ 19: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಸೋಮನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತಮಾತೆಯನ್ನು ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷರ ಸಂಕೋಲೆಯಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಲು ಹೋರಾಡಿದ ಅಪ್ರತಿಮ ದೇಶಭಕ್ತ ಮಂಗಲಪಾಂಡೆಯ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಮಂಗಲಪಾಂಡೆ ಭಾವಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಪುಷ್ಪಾರ್ಚನೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮಕ್ಕಳು ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿ ಗೀತೆ ಹಾಡಿದರು. ಮಂಗಲಪಾಂಡೆಯ ಜೀವನಚರಿತ್ರೆ, ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷರು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಕಿರುಕುಳದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಆತ ಹೋರಾಡಿ ಪ್ರಾಣತ್ಯಾಗ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಭಾಷಣದ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
