Bengaluru, Feb. 21: Science Week was organized as part of the National Science Day Celebrations herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Somanahalli. Science Week was organized in our school on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sir C.V. Raman. First, the Science Week theme was launched by our school science teacher Smt. Vimala by conducting a small experiment. Then, a class 1st student Punashchethan dressed up as A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, and explained the importance of science and its significance. Then, class 1st students Samriddhi and Veeranchi conducted an experiment on wind force to teach about the energy in the air. Similarly, more information about the origin of science was shown on television.Day 2The students of class 1st performed a dance performance to show that science is not just about learning through exploration and experiments. Then, they explained through an experiment how important air is for any living thing. Kishan, a student of class six, dressed up as M.S. Swaminathan and introduced himself and made some statements about science.Day 3General knowledge questions on science were organized for class-wise children to increase their knowledge of science.Class 3 students Adhyamayi and Atharva demonstrated the difference between looking at any image directly and looking at it in water reflection by doing an experiment. Class 4 student Shamanth introduced himself and made some statements while wearing the disguise of Jagadish Chandra Bose.Day 4A student of class 3, Venkataraman, dressed as Ramakrishna and made some statements. Then an experiment was done on the speed of wind.Day 5 and 6Students of classes 4, 5 and 6 presented a drama on the importance of science. A student of class 2, Deepu, dressed as Kalpana Chhawla, introduced herself and made statements.Day 7 (Sir C. V. Raman Jayanti) The birthday of Sir C.V. Raman, who made a great contribution to the field of science, was celebrated.Students of class 2 presented a short drama on the importance of water. An experiment was done on the conduction of electricity. Kishan, a student of class 5, dressed as Sir C.V. Raman and introduced himself and made statements. Smt. Vimala, the science teacher of the school, taught the pledge on the topic of incorporating some aspects of science in daily life. Then, more information was learned by watching a visual display about C.V. Raman. Finally, everyone was told about ten different things on the subject of science and technology.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಫೆ. 21: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಸೋಮನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಪ್ತಾಹವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸರ್ ಸಿ.ವಿ. ರಾಮನ್ ಅವರ ಜಯಂತಿಯ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಪ್ತಾಹವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಮೊದಲಿಗೆ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಪ್ತಾಹ ವಿಷಯ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯನ್ನು ಒಂದು ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಪ್ರಯೋಗ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ವಿಮಲಾ ಅವರು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರು. ನಂತರ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿರುವಂತಹ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾಕಾರರಾದ ಎ.ಪಿ.ಜೆ. ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ಕಲಾಂ ಅವರ ಛದ್ಮವೇಷವನ್ನು ಒಂದನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಪುನಶ್ಚೇತನ್ ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ವಿಜ್ಞಾನದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದನು. ನಂತರ ಒಂದನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಾದ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ವೀರಾಂಚಿ ಗಾಳಿಯ ಬಲದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಗಾಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶಕ್ತಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ದೂರದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನದ ಉಗಮದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.2ನೇ ದಿನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನವೆಂಬ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಕೇವಲ ಅನ್ವೇಷಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಯೋಗಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲವೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ಒಂದನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಯಾವುದೇ ವಸ್ತು ಜೀವಿಸಲು ಗಾಳಿಯ ಮಹತ್ವ ಎಷ್ಟಿದೆ ಎನ್ನುವುದನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರಯೋಗದ ಮೂಲಕ ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಆರನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಕಿಶನ್ ಎಂ.ಎಸ್. ಸ್ವಾಮಿನಾಥನ್ ಅವರ ಛದ್ಮವೇಷವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ ಸ್ವ ಪರಿಚಯದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನದ ಕೆಲವು ಹೇಳಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದನು. 3ನೇ ದಿನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿಷಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳನ್ನು ತರಗತಿಯವಾರು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನದ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮೂರನೇ ತರಗತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಾದ ಆದ್ಯಮಯಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅಥರ್ವ ಯಾವುದೇ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ನೇರವಾಗಿ ನೋಡುವಾಗ ಮತ್ತು ನೀರಿನ ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬದಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಡುವಾಗ ಬರುವ ವ್ಯತ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಶಮಂತ್ ಜಗದೀಶ್ ಚಂದ್ರ ಬೋಸ್ ಅವರ ಛದ್ಮವೇಷವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ ಸ್ವ ಪರಿಚಯದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಕೆಲವು ಹೇಳಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದನು. 4ನೇ ದಿನ ಮೂರನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ವೆಂಕಟರಾಮನ್ ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ ಅವರ ಛದ್ಮವೇಷವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ ಕೆಲವು ಹೇಳಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ನಂತರ ಗಾಳಿಯ ವೇಗದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ತೋರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. 5 & 6ನೇ ದಿನ ನಾಲ್ಕು, ಐದು ಮತ್ತು ಆರನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವಿಜ್ಞಾನದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ನಾಟಕದ ಮೂಲಕ ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಎರಡನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ದೀಪು ಕಲ್ಪನಾ ಛಾವ್ಲಾ ರವರ ಛದ್ಮವೇಶವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ ಸ್ವ ಪರಿಚಯದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದಳು. 7ನೇ ದಿನ (ಸರ್ ಸಿ. ವಿ. ರಾಮನ್ ಜಯಂತಿ) ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಮಹಾನ್ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಸರ್ ಸಿ,ವಿ ರಾಮನ್ ಅವರ ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಎರಡನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ನೀರಿನ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಕಿರು ನಾಟಕವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ತಿನ ಚಾಲನೆಯನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಯೋಗದ ಮೂಲಕ ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಡಲಾಯಿತು. 5ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಕಿಶನ್ ಸರ್ ಸಿ, ವಿ ರಾಮನ್ ಅವರ ಛದ್ಮವೇಶವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ ಸ್ವ ಪರಿಚಯದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಶಾಲೆಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ವಿಮಲಾ ಅವರು ವಿಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರತಿನಿತ್ಯ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವು ಅಂಶಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂಬ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞಾ ಸ್ವೀಕಾರವನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ನಂತರ ಸಿ ವಿ ರಾಮನ್ ಅವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ದೃಶ್ಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು. ಕೊನೆಯದಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದ ವಿಷಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹತ್ತು ಹಲವಾರು ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
