Bengaluru, June 26: Green Day was celebrated under the theme ‘A Journey to Green Forest Paradise’ herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Somanahalli Gokulam section. Children and teachers came dressed in various shades of green.Pre-KG children recited shlokas. Children performed a fun skit on the lion and mouse. Children performed a dance. They tried to understand the nature around them. They explored the importance of trees, green vegetables and fruits in maintaining our health.Activities such as identifying various green vegetables and fruits and knowing their nutritional values were conducted.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಜೂ. 26: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಸೋಮನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಗೋಕುಲಂ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ʼಹಸಿರು ಕಾಡಿನ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಕ್ಕೊಂದು ಪಯಣʼ ಎನ್ನುವ ಧ್ಯೇಯವಾಕ್ಯದಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಸಿರು ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಹಸಿರು ಬಣ್ಣದ ವಿವಿಧ ಛಾಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದರು.
ಪ್ರೀ-ಕೆಜಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಶ್ಲೋಕ ವಾಚನ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಸಿಂಹ ಮತ್ತು ಇಲಿಯ ಮೇಳಿನ ಮೋಜಿನ ಕಿರುನಾಟಕವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.ಮಕ್ಕಳು ನೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ತಮ್ಮ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರು. ನಮ್ಮಆರೋಗ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ಮರಗಿಡಗಳ, ಹಸಿರು ತರಕಾರಿಗಳ, ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸಿದರು. ಬಗೆಬಗೆಯ ಹಸಿರು ತರಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳ ಪೌಷ್ಠಿಕ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಮೊದಲಾದ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.
