Bengaluru, Dec. 30: Gokulam students of Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra –Somanahalli visited SM farm. The tour started with a visit to the Anjaneya temple. Received Hanuman’s blessings, realized the significance of the temple and took a photo; They sang a devotional song there. After visiting the temple, the children arrived at SM Farm and planted saplings. After drinking fresh tender coconut water, they saw various trees including papaya and jackfruit grown in the farm and learned about the growth of various fruits. Besides fruit trees, the children observed edible plants like Methi leaves, Palak leaves and Pigeon pea. After visiting the farm, the students enjoyed a picnic-style lunch, and after lunch, they visited the baby corn plants, where they learned more about how the crops are grown. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಡಿ. 30: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಸೋಮನಹಳ್ಳಿಯ ಗೋಕುಲಂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಎಸ್ ಎಮ್ ಫಾರ್ಮ್ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಪ್ರವಾಸವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅಂಜನೇಯ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರವಾಸವನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಹನುಮಂತನ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು, ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವವನ್ನು ಅರಿತುಕೊಂಡರು ಮತ್ತು ಪೋಟೋ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡರು; ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಭಕ್ತಿಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದರು. ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ದರ್ಶನದ ನಂತರ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಎಸ್‌ಎಂ ಫಾರ್ಮ್‌ಗೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿ, ಸಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟರು. ತಾಜಾ ಎಳನೀರು ಕುಡಿದು ಜಮೀನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆದ ಪಪ್ಪಾಯಿ, ಹಲಸು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡರು. ಹಣ್ಣಿನ ಮರಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮೇತಿ ಎಲೆಗಳು, ಪಾಲಾಕ್ ಎಲೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪಾರಿವಾಳ ಪೀಸ್ ನಂತಹ ಖಾದ್ಯ ಸಸ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು. ಫಾರ್ಮ್ ಅನ್ನು ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿದ ಬಳಿಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪಿಕ್ನಿಕ್ ಶೈಲಿಯ ಊಟವನ್ನು ಸವಿದು, ಊಟದ ನಂತರ, ಅವರು ಬೇಬಿ ಕಾರ್ನ್ ಸಸ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಬೆಳೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಬೆಳೆಸುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂಬುದರ ಕುರಿತು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪಡೆದರು. ಜಮೀನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಎತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ, ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳು ಕೃಷಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಕಾಳಜಿ ವಹಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂಬುದರ ಕುರಿತು ಒಳನೋಟವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದರು.
