Bengaluru, July 2: ‘Doctor’s Day’ was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Somanahalli.As part of the curriculum, students from grades 5 and 6 paid a visit to the Govt. Hospital, Kaggalipura, in order to gain insight into the intricacies of the medical profession.The objective of this gathering was to acknowledge and honour individuals who have dedicated their careers to the healthcare field, with a special emphasis on doctors. Students made an effort to comprehend the healthcare system, medical protocols, and the crucial role that doctors play in patient well-being.
The students interacted with the doctors, nurses and other staff members of the hospital.The doctor taught the students how to maintain physical and mental health.The children took a pledge that they would not take junk food.A pilot lesson on hand washing was conducted. Students responded positively. And respected the healthcare workers for their day-to-day challenges.At the end of the program, the students gifted Tulsi sapling, greeting card and ‘Bharata-Bharati’ books.The program helped the students to learn about the field of medicine. The program inspired some students to consider taking up the medical profession.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಜುಲೈ 2: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಸೋಮನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ‘ವೈದ್ಯರ ದಿನ’ವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ 5 ಹಾಗೂ 6ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕಗ್ಗಲೀಪುರದ ಸರ್ಕಾರೀ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಒಳಹೊರಗುಗಳನ್ನು ಅರಿಯುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿ ಸಮಾಜಿಕ ಕಾಳಜಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನವನ್ನೇ ಮುಡುಪಾಗಿಟ್ಟವರನ್ನು ಅದರಲ್ಲೂ ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ವೈದ್ಯರುಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಗೌರವಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಈ ಭೇಟಿಯದ್ದಾಗಿತ್ತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ, ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಕ್ರಮ ಹಾಗೂ ರೋಗಿಗಳ ಕಾಳಜಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವೈದ್ಯರ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಅರಿಯುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವೈದ್ಯರು, ನರ್ಸ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಇನ್ನಿತರ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂವಾದ ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ವೈದ್ಯರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ದೈಹಿಕವಾಗಿ, ಮಾನಸಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಆರೋಗ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಪಾಠ ಮಾಡಿದರು.ಆರಂಭದಲ್ಲೇ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಾವು ಜಂಕ್ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೆನ್ನುವ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞಾವಿಧಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದರು. ಕೈತೊಳೆಯುವ ಪ್ರಯೋಗಿಕ ಪಾಠವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸಿದರು.ಹಾಗೂ ಆರೋಗ್ಯಕಾಳಜಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರಿಗೆ ಅವರ ದೈನಂದಿನ ಸವಾಲುಗಳಿಗೆ ಗೌರವ ತೋರಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತುಳಸಿಗಿಡ, ಅಭಿನಂದನಾ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಭಾರತ-ಭಾರತೀ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅರಿಯಲು ನೆರವಾಯಿತು. ಕೆಲವು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವೈದ್ಯ ವೃತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುವ ಕುರಿತು ಯೋಚಿಸುವಂತೆ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ ನೀಡಿತು.
