Bengaluru, Dec. 17: Gokulam students of Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Somanahalli celebrated Flower Day. The children presented a bunch of flowers to the Pradhanacharya to show their respect and gratitude. Children performed flower themed rhymes. Children were told about the importance of flowers in nature and culture by showing a video about flowers.

Bengaluru, Dec. 9: As part of the field trip herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Somanahalli, a field trip was organized for classes 5 and 6 to Rashtrotthana Parishad Goshala, Mudenahalli and Kalhalli temple and for classes 3 and 4 to Cubbon Park.
The staff of Rashtrotthana Parishad Goshala warmly welcomed the children of classes 5 and 6 and explained the role of Goshala in protecting domestic livestock and supporting sustainable agriculture.
